I have read from the City News that the city is happy to welcome people to the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday 3rd December at Central Park. According to the city manager Deanna J. Santana, this year's event is one step to restoring the community events and celebrating the holiday season together. In addition, the County of Santa Clara is now offering Covid-19 vaccination to children aged 5-11. This is after the vaccination approval by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The city also provides Covid-19 boosters for people who received their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. Apart from these, the redistricting process in Santa Clara has been ongoing, with the next one expected to be on 9th December. The City manager wishes a happy and festive Thanksgiving to all family and friends.
